Nat Geo is known for its brillant photography--this is almost undisputable. In expanding their brand online Nat Geo has maintained the important role of photography in their magazine, and the reader has reaped the visual benefits every step of the way. Nat Geo is now accepting photo submissions from the general public for their annual Photo Contest. The contest runs from September 1 - November 30. Though ultimately judged by a panel of Nat Geo photographical experts, readers are encouraged to view the submissions online during this time period and vote toward a 'Viewer's Choice' Award. I urge you to take a look at some of the awe-some photos (some are quite literally "awe" insipiring), and vote too!
